TODAY: A weaker ridge sitting over us will bring partly cloudy skies for the bulk of the day. We'll see a slight chance for some scattered t-storms from the heat of the day. Highs will be near 80°F with winds out of the S at 5-10 MPH. Partly cloudy skies continue into the overnight with lows in the 50's and 60's.
FRIDAY: The bulk of the day will be partly to mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and t-storms. Highs will be near 80°F. Dew points will be higher, so it'll feel semi-humid as well. A cold front begins to move through the region starting Friday night, so we'll see a 60% chance of some showers and t-storms heading into Saturday morning. A couple of these storms could be strong to severe, with the main threat being heavy downpours. There's a lot of moisture moving into the region as well to support heavy precipitation, so we'll have to keep an eye on that.
SATURDAY: Models are keeping the best chance for showers and t-storms during the first half of the day. We'll see a 50% chance throughout the day, but we should see storms move out heading into the later afternoon hours in Minnesota, and later evening hours in Wisconsin. Once again, there's a lot of moisture in our atmosphere, so heavy downpours will be the main threat of any severe storm activity. It'll be warm and humid as well, with highs in the lower 80's and dew points around 70°F. Partly cloudy to mostly clear skies move in for the overnight as a weaker ridge moves in.]
SUNDAY: We'll see a 30% chance of scattered showers and t-storms. It'll be warm and humid once again with partly cloudy skies. A broad trough brings a 40% chance of showers and t-storms for Sunday night into Monday morning.
MONDAY: A broad trough brings a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms early in the day. Eventually, skies will begin to clear heading into the afternoon with highs in the upper 70's.
TUESDAY: We'll see partly cloudy skies with highs around 80°F. Lows will be around 60°F.
Have a great day!
