HAYWARD, WI -- The Sawyer County Sheriff's Office has released the names of those involved in a car crash that killed two people Wednesday, July 29, in the Town of Lenroot.
According to the report, the driver of the 2016 Honda CRV has been identified as Liset Ibarra, 36, from Milwaukee.
Ibarra was airlifted from the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital to a Duluth hospital for treatment, and is currently in stable condition.
The Honda passenger, Johanna Ibarra, 18, of Milwaukee, was also airlifted for medical treatment. However, her condition is unknown at this time.
Both of the occupants in the rear passenger area of the Honda CRV died at the scene.
They were identified as Ezekiel E. Acevedo, 20, and a 10-year-old boy, both from Milwaukee.
The other driver in the 2004 Toyota Camry, a 56-year old Hayward woman was taken to Hayward Area Memorial Hospital for medical treatment and later released.
The crash remains under investigation by the Sawyer County Sheriff's Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Sawyer County Coroner's Office.
