DULUTH, Minn. -- The Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) officially announced changes to the 2020 fall sports season.
Football and volleyball will be moved to the spring. Soccer, cross country, girls tennis, and girls swimming will still be played on a restricted basis.
Schedules will be reduced by 20 percent, with a 30 percent reduction in games. Schools will switch to all-local matchups, with primarily section-based opponents.
Football and volleyball teams will still be allowed to practice during the fall.
