ST. PAUL, MN -- Although there will not be the usual opportunity to gather for the Great Minnesota Get-Together this year, the Minnesota State Fair has announced the creation of an online marketplace, as well as four virtual competition showcases.
The Minnesota State Fair Online Marketplace is a searchable hub to help fair fans support their favorite State Fair merchandise vendors and discover new shopping surprises.
The online hub will be available through Dec. 31, 2020.
The Minnesota State Fair competition department is also offering four virtual showcases for 2020, which include cookie decorating, crop art, K-12 artwork & photography, and quilt on-a-stick.
Entry photos will be accepted until Aug. 27. Then State Fair staff picks will be announced on the fair’s social media channels between Aug. 28 and Labor Day, Sept. 7.
In addition to the virtual showcases, the fair previously announced that the show will go on for the 2020 Fine Arts Exhibition of Minnesota.
