DULUTH, MN -- Every summer, Duluth Fire Department members hit the streets, looking to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
This year, the coronavirus pandemic has forced the team to move their donation drive online.
Since 2006, Duluth firefighters have been taking part in the Fill the Boot initiative to help people born with muscular dystrophy, ALS, or other life-threatening diseases.
The money will help children and adults in the community, and support innovative research to change the future for people with neuromuscular disorders.
The department's goal is $30,000.
