Cook County’s ‘One Moose Apart’ campaign raising money for families, businesses

GRAND MARAIS, MN -- A health campaign in Cook County, Minnesota is hoping a t-shirt design will help raise money for struggling families and businesses.

Back in May, Visit Cook County came up with the "One Moose Apart" campaign to promote social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Now, after seeing a high-demand in poster sales, the group is selling t-shirts and giving the proceeds to the Cook County Coronavirus Relief Fund.

According to the team's Custom Ink website, they have already surpassed their fundraising goal of selling 50 shirts.

In addition to the "One Moose Apart" campaign, Visit Cook County is providing free face coverings to visitors in the area while promoting safe and responsible visitation.
