Duluth first responders receive anonymous donation of nearly $7K in restaurant vouchers

DULUTH, MN -- First responders in Duluth received an anonymous donation Friday in the way of pre-paid restaurant vouchers.

Retired police officer and Vice President of the Duluth Police Foundation, Peg Johnson, announced the donation of 342 Strong Northland vouchers.

The vouchers, valued at nearly $7,000, are being distributed to front-line Duluth police, fire and ambulance department members.

Strong Northland is an effort providing an economic stimulus to the Twin Ports area amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vouchers are available for purchase at and redeemable at any participating restaurant.
