TODAY: A cold front continues to sweep through our region, bringing us a 30% chance of some showers and thunderstorms, mainly during the morning hours. High pressure builds behind the front, so clearing skies heading into the afternoon for Minnesota. The front lingers in WI, so they'll see a 40% chance of some t-storms. Wisconsin's severe threat is low heading into the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 80's. Clear skies overnight.
FRIDAY: A lingering surface trough and high pressure bring partly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 80's and lows in the lower 60's.
SATURDAY: We'll begin the day with mostly clear skies. A shortwave trough brings a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms heading into the afternoon. Highs will be around 80°F and lows will be in the lower 60's.
SUNDAY: We'll see partly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 80's and lows in the lower 60's.
NEXT WEEK: The Northland will begin the week with some chances for showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will be slightly above average with partly to mostly cloudy skies.
