Duluth Public Schools hire new leadership

DULUTH, MN-- The Duluth School District will see new faces in leadership roles come fall, changes in staff have been made as of Tuesday.

The Duluth School Board approved the hire of Anthony Bonds as the new Assistant Superintendent and Jen Larva as the Interim Director of Curriculum and Instruction.

This comes after John Magas took over as the district's new superintendent last week.

The Duluth School District also announced Joanna Walters as the new Assistant Principal at Denfeld High School.

The district as a whole still faces challenges in figuring out how students will be learning in the fall as long as COVID-19 restrictions still exist.
