Chances for severe storms this week

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

AFTERNOON/TONIGHT: This afternoon we will be tracking some scattered showers and thunderstorms. There is a chance we could see an isolated severe thunderstorms or two into the early evening hours. After 9pm we should start to see things clear out.

TUESDAY: Tuesday we will see partly cloudy to partly sunny skies. Temperatures will climb back into the mid to lower 80’s with winds out of the W 4-8mph. There will be a slight chance of some spotty showers or isolated thunder, but not everyone will see rain.

Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning there will be a chance of seeing a powerful line of thunderstorms rolling across Minnesota and then diminishing as it enters into Wisconsin. Straight-line winds will be a big concern. Timing is still not 100% pinned down, but sometime early Wednesday morning looks the most likely.

WEDNESDAY: After Wednesday morning severe threat of weather we will see mostly cloudy to partly sunny skies. Highs will be in the lower 80’s with a slight chance of some afternoon thunderstorms.

THURSDAY: Thursday we will see partly sunny skies and a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid-80’s with winds out of the SSE.
