DULUTH, Minn. -- The University of Minnesota Duluth athletics department will bring back student-athletes on a restricted, voluntary basis.

Starting on Monday, July 6, approximately 100 Bulldog student-athletes will return for limited, voluntary workouts. They have partnered with Essentia Health, and will be implementing a "robust screening and assessment process."

Student-athletes will be required to undertake a modified 14-day quarantine period before they return to campus. Masks, social distancing, and regular hand sanitization will all be required.

Special regulations were also developed for UMD facilities at AMSOIL Arena.
