Woman suffers life-threatening injuries after Blatnik Bridge rollover

DULUTH,MN-- A Saginaw woman is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a rollover crash on the Blatnik Bridge early Sunday morning.

The car was traveling north on I-535 from Superior on the Blatnik Bridge when it lost control and rolled over off to the right of the road, just before the I-35 exit.

A 25-year-old passenger from Saginaw is currently being treated at a Duluth hospital for life-threatening injuries.

Another 23-year-old passenger, of Duluth, did not suffer any injuries.

The Minnesota State Patrol listed both occupants as "passengers."

Road conditions at the time of the crash were dry.

It is unknown if seat belts were worn or if alcohol was a factor.

Duluth Police and Duluth Fire responded to the scene.
