DULUTH, MN -- We are less than two months away from Minnesota' August Primary Election, and starting Friday, you can begin to cast your vote.

Voting will take place at Duluth City Hall. You may vote early if you choose.

There is no need to make an appointment to vote.

The city says the best way to vote is by mail, but for those who want to vote in person, there will be safety measures in place.

"What we are really focusing on here is of course the COVID pandemic and really wanting to ensure the safety of voters, and also ensure the safety of our poll workers who will be out on election day," said Chelsea Helmer, City of Duluth Director of Administrative Services.

Additionally, the city says they are looking for voting judges to help out during the August 11 Primary.

You can sign up on the city's website here.
