Twin Ports area hockey arenas re-open with pandemic restrictions

DULUTH, Minn. -- Multiple hockey arenas in the Twin Ports Area officially re-opened on Monday, with limited restrictions.

Following a set of guidelines released by the Minnesota Department of Health, hockey arenas were able to open on a limited basis starting June 1st.

Some Twin Ports area arenas will be opening throughout the summer. They are as follows:

  • Essentia Heritage Sports Center (Duluth), June 8
  • Hermantown Hockey Arena (Hermantown), June 8
  • MARS Lakeview Arena (Duluth), June 8
  • St. Luke's Sports & Events Center (Proctor), July 6
  • Wessman Arena (Superior), TBD
  • Northwoods Credit Union Arena (Cloquet), TBD
