SUPERIOR, WI -- Black smoke could be seen billowing in Superior Tuesday night after an RV burst into flames.

Fire Crews responded near the intersection of East 3rd St. and 24th Ave. E around 8 p.m.

When they arrived the RV was engulfed in flames.

The vehicle was parked in an alley, and there was heat damage to a nearby garage.

The cause is under investigation, but officials say it appears to have been accidental. The owners believe it to be an electrical fire.

The RV was a total loss. No one was hurt.
