TODAY/TONIGHT: Today we will be seeing partly sunny skies to start the day, but we are tracking some chances of showers and thunderstorms as well. Showers and thunderstorms should begin to develop in Central-Minnesota between 8-10am. They will then move ESE through the region, arriving in the Ports between 11am-1pm. It doesn’t look like we will see severe storms today, but I will be keeping a close eye. Highs will be in the lower 70’s in the Ports, but mid to lower 80’s across Central/East-Central Minnesota. Winds will be out of the SSW 5-10mph.
Tonight we will see clearing skies. Lows will be in the mid-50’s with winds out of the WNW 4-8mph.
TUESDAY: A ridge of warm air will move in on Tuesday to bring some very warm temperatures to the region. Highs will climb into the lower 80’s with winds out of the northwest 5-10mph. Expect mostly sunny skies.
WEDNESDAY: Wednesday will be another warm day. Highs will climb into the upper 70’s and lower 80’s. Winds will be out of the WNW 5-10mph. Expect partly cloudy skies.
THURSDAY: On Thursday we will see partly sunny skies and a 30% chance of some scattered showers and maybe some isolated thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 70’s.
