Superior’s 4th of July Parade postponed amid COVID-19 concerns

SUPERIOR, WI-- The 4th of July parade in Superior has been postponed, according to the Citizens 4th of July Committee website.

The committee said on their website that this has been a complicated year so far and that they have been looking at every angle to make a decision on whether the parade should be held or not.

They continued to say "in the end if we had the parade and just one person got sick we could never forgive ourselves."

The committee added they will be back next year, and the 4th of July parade could possibly be held at a later date this year.

According to the committee, they'll continue to update their website with any new information on the parade. You can find their website here.

Despite the parade being postponed, the 4th of July fireworks are still set to be held at the Superior Fairgrounds.
