String of overnight burglaries being investigated by Duluth Police

DULUTH, MN-- Duluth Police say they responded to one attempted break-in and two burglaries Sunday night into Monday morning at three different locations.

According to police, Duluth Smoke Shop, Ecig, And CBD in the Duluth Heights neighborhood and Piedmont liquor store in the Piedmont neighborhood were burglarized. Both reported thefts of less than $500.

Police also reported an attempted break-in at the Speedway gas station in the Lakeside neighborhood.

Duluth police say no suspect is in custody as of Monday at 3:15 p.m.

It's unclear whether these incidents are related. Police say this is an open and active investigation.
