Sunny weekend, more wet weather next week.

High pressure will sit over the region Saturday and skies will be sunny. Expect highs in the low 40s with northwest winds at 5-10mph. The high continues to the east and starts to warm us up a bit with southern flow. Morning lows on Sunday are in the mid 20s and highs reach near 50.

Morning lows are in the low 30s Monday. A warm front approaches from the south and increases our clouds to overcast. There’s a 40% chance of some rain showers throughout the afternoon, mainly south of Two Harbors to Floodwood. High temperatures are in the mid 40s in Duluth, but about 10 degrees warmer away from the lake.

A low pressure system moves in from the west and increases our chance of rain to 60% Tuesday. There’s even a chance of some thunder as well. Morning lows are in the mid 30s and highs reach the mid 40s in Duluth with warmer temps away from the lake.

A cold front pushes south into the region on Wednesday. This brings a 20% chance of showers. Morning lows are in the mid 30s and highs reach the mid 40s.
