ST. PAUL, MN -- St. Louis County reported its fifth confirmed COVID-19 case Thursday, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.
As of 11 a.m. Thursday, MDH data showed Minnesota also reported its second COVID-19 related death.
There are 346 confirmed cases statewide. 12,950 COVID-19 tests have been completed, according to the MDH.
There was no immediate word from state health officials as to the age or location of St. Louis County's fifth confirmed case.
State health officials also did not share the age or location of the second patient to die from the illness. The first Minnesota death, a patient in their 80s, was reported Saturday.

No other northeastern Minnesota counties are reporting confirmed cases as of Thursday morning.
