DULUTH,MN -- College of Saint Scholastica students in Duluth were in the process of moving out of their dorms Friday.
Like most schools, all their classes have been moved to online for the duration of the spring semester, and students were told to head home due to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
For freshman Derek Schommer, he said that having his classes online will be difficult for him, but when it comes to the health of society, it makes sense.
"I think so, I think it's what you have to do. College is secondary. Throughout this you realize what's important, you realize family and well being is important, you know, your livelihood."Said Schommer.
He also said he is worried about whether he would be getting a refund for his room and board, and the challenge of doing his music courses online.
