DULUTH, Minn. -- UMD junior defenseman Scott Perunovich has officially been named one of ten finalists for the 2019-20 Hobey Baker Memorial Award.
Perunovich becomes the ninth Bulldog finalist for the award, given to the most outstanding NCAA D-I men's hockey player.
The Hibbing native is a two-time All-American and has been named to the All-NCHC First Team a record three times. He's the first-ever defenseman to lead the conference in points, with 40 total.

The field of 10 finalists will be narrowed down to three on April 2. The Hobey Baker Memorial Award winner will be announced April 10 on NHL Network.
