INTERVIEW: PAVSA executive director speaks on Saturday’s curling fundraiser

DULUTH, MN - KBJR 6 Anchor Jessie Slater sat down with Sara Niemi, the executive director of the Program for Aid to Victims of Sexual Assault (PAVSA), to learn more about a curling fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 29th.

The fundraiser takes place from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Duluth Curling Club in the DECC.

PAVSA is a non-profit sexual assault crisis center in southern St. Louis County helping area residents cope with the aftermath of sexual violence, according to the PAVSA website.

Services include various options for people who have been victimized, ranging from immediate crisis intervention to long-term counseling, also according to the website.
