Cleanup underway after semi tips over near Saginaw

SAGINAW, MN-- Multiple agencies responded to a semi-truck rollover Friday morning in St. Louis County.

According to the Cloquet Area Fire District's Facebook page, the incident happened where Highway 2 meets Highway 33 in Saginaw just after 6 a.m.

Officials say the semi, containing a load of lime, tipped over, but crews managed to contain the leaking fluids while assisting with traffic control.

No injuries were reported.

As of 8 a.m. Friday, crews remain on scene to help with clean-up efforts.

The Cloquet Area Fire Department, Minnesota State Patrol, MnDOT, St. Louis County Sheriff's Department & Rescue Squad all assisted in the response.
