Ready for a weekend warm-up?!

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

A large ridge in the jet stream swings over and keeps us dry while also warming us up! High temperatures by the afternoon are in the mid 30s to low 40s. Grand Marais will be a bit cooler as it will take the warm air a little longer to reach the NE tip of Minnesota, so expect highs in the low 20s on the hill and upper 20s by the lake.

A short wave in the jet stream pushes east over the Borderland. This and a low pressure system at the surface will continue east and warm us up further as it draws in warm air from the southwest. Clouds increase Saturday night into Sunday morning and low temps are mild, in the mid 20s. Then highs reach the mid 40s! Expect mostly cloudy skies

A cold front passes through Monday and temperatures fall as high pressure builds. Morning lows are in the low 20s and highs reach the low 30s.

Another short wave in the jet stream pushes east on Tuesday. This time it’s a bit further south. This means we have a 30% chance of some snow showers. Morning lows are near 21 and highs reach 37.

There’s another disturbance in the jet stream on Wednesday in the region. So there’s a 20% chance of some snow showers with morning lows near 20 and highs in the mid 30s.
