CEC girls shut out Hutchinson in state quarterfinal

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Cloquet-Esko-Carlton girls hockey team isn't just down at the state tournament for a participation award.

The Jacks meant business in their Class A quarterfinal matchup against Hutchinson. Just over a minute and a half into the game, Jenna Zdebski put CEC up 1-0 with a wrist shot from the point.

Jaxi Pogorelc added another before the end of the period, and the Lumberjacks held on to win it 2-0.
