Arctic cold arrives midweek

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

MONDAY:

With mostly clear skies in the morning, temps will start off near 0º. There will be increasing clouds throughout the day and some light flurries that will stay mainly to the north of the Twin Ports. The high temp will be 28º. Winds will be southwest 10-15 mph.

TUESDAY:

Mainly cloudy skies in the morning will keep morning lows relatively mild in the mid teens. Decreasing clouds will lead to sun in the afternoon. The high will be around 24º. Southwest wind 10-15 mph.

WEDNESDAY:

Cloudy skies. An arctic front will pass through the northland and bring a 40% chance for some snow. Behind the front is some very cold air and gusty northwest winds. Temps will get as warm as 28º before the front passes, then they will drop below zero overnight.

THURSDAY:

Cold. Morning temps near 10º below zero, and the high will only get a few degrees above 0º. Sunny skies in the afternoon will help it feel a little bit better.

FRIDAY:

Very cold start to the day. Im thinking we could get as cold as -15º here in Duluth. Good news... A southerly wind will allow us to get into the low teens with plenty of sun.

WEEKEND:

Models are showing a weak low that could bring just a 20% chance for light snow on Saturday, but a bigger 40% chance for Sunday. It still a week away, so I suggest downloading our weather app to keep up to date.
