Bulldogs win third straight, 3-2 over Nebraska-Omaha

DULUTH, Minn. -- The UMD men's hockey team earned their third consecutive conference win, 3-2 over Nebraska-Omaha on Friday night.

Kobe Roth netted his team leading 11th goal of the season in the first period to give UMD an early lead. Quinn Olson added another in the second, and Noah Cates found another in the third to seal the win.

UMD has now won eight consecutive games over Nebraska-Omaha, dating back to 2018.

The Bulldogs and Mavericks will hit the ice for game two on Saturday night at 7:07 p.m. The game can be seen live on the My9 Sports Network, as well as FOX 9+.
