Say goodbye to the warm… Cold air arrives Monday

MONDAY:

A cold front will pass through early Monday morning, shifting the winds from the Southwest to Northwest. The Northwest wind is bringing in colder air from Canada. Morning temps will be in the mid 20's and they will cool throughout the day. Dropping into the teens by the evening. Skies will be mostly cloudy.

TUESDAY:

High pressure builds in behind the cold front and will bring us mostly sunny skies. Temps will be cold. Near 0º in the morning and only warming to the low teens for the high. Abundant sunshine will help a bit.

WEDNESDAY:

Another mostly sunny day, with temps slightly colder than average. We will stay in the teens for Wednesday. Again, plenty of sun will make for a pretty nice day.

THURSDAY:

There is a weak low pressure system to our North will shift our wind out of the Southwest, and that will warm temps slightly into the low to mid 20's. Skies will be partly cloudy.

FRIDAY:

There is a high that moves to our North and that will shift winds out of the East-Northeast. This will lead to cloudy skies for the shores and a 20% for some lake effect snow. Highs will be in the low 20's.

WEEKEND:

Saturday it looks like the clouds and slight chance for lake effect will continue with temps in the low 20's.

Sunday, partly cloudy skies and temps will stay in the low 20's.
