Clouds continue this week.

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

TONIGHT:
Expect plenty of clouds tonight and low temperatures in the low teens to upper single digits. Some places along the South Shore will be in the upper teens to near 20 with a northwest wind at 4-8mph coming off the “warm” lake keeping them a bit warmer. There’s a 40% chance of some flurries around Ironwood with that northwest flow.

TUESDAY:
High pressure sits to our northeast and will keep us dry Tuesday. Expect mostly cloudy skies with highs in the low to mid 20s. Winds are out of the east at 3-6mph.

WEDNESDAY:
There’s a lot of minor systems sweeping through the jet stream this week. Within the jet there’s a shortwave moving through Wednesday. But at the surface we have a high pressure system. The high wins out and keeps us dry. Morning lows are in the low teens and highs reach the mid 20s.

THURSDAY:
A stronger shortwave swings southward and increases our cloud coverage to overcast, it also brings in a 30% chance of some snow showers Thursday. Morning lows are in the mid teens and highs reach 25.

FRIDAY:
The shortwave pushes east and deepens on Friday. This keeps us under the clouds and continues our 30% chance of snow showers. Morning lows are in the upper teens and highs reach 30.

SATURDAY:
A trough continues to sit over the region Saturday, but is slowly moving east. Expect a 30% chance of snow in the early morning and a 20% chance by the afternoon with mostly cloudy skies. Morning lows are in the low 20s and highs reach the low 30s.
