IOWA CITY, IA- It was a special day for Port Wing native Megan Gustafson on Sunday, as the former Hawkeye standout had her number 10 retired.
She was honored with a ceremony following the conclusion of the Michigan State/Iowa game.
Gustafson is the 2nd player ever to have their number retired by Iowa basketball.
During her career, she picked up a number of awards including the National Player of the Year Award and the Big Ten Player of the Year Award.
She is also the school's all-time scoring leader.
Gustafson is set to begin her 2nd season with the Dallas Wings of the WNBA.
