RICE LAKE, MN-- There was a massive emergency response to a house fire in Rice Lake Friday evening.
According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, crews responded to a report of a home on fire on Howard Gnesen Road just before 6:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, crews found smoke billowing from the building.
It was reported there was a loud noise and smoke coming from the attic.
Officials say a 35-year-old man was treated on scene for smoke inhalation.
No other injuries were reported.
The Rice Lake Fire Department, Lakewood Fire Department, Fredenberg Fire Department, Canosia Fire Department, and Mayo Ambulance were on scene.
No word on what caused the fire or how much damage was left to the home.
