DULUTH, Minn. -- Duluth Denfeld softball standout Stephanie Ferguson has officially signed her National Letter of Intent to play at Bemidji State next season.
Ferguson is a senior catcher for the Hunters, and also a four sport athlete. She plays basketball, softball, runs cross country, and figure skates as well.
"Yeah it's a dream come true. I've been looking forward to this since freshman year, and ever since I basically started softball. But it's been a dream come true," said Ferguson.
"There was one other school that I was considering, and it was a tough choice because I really like that school too. But in the long run I think this is the better decision, and I think it'll be a great fit."
She also added that staying somewhat close to home was a significant priority, so she could still visit home during her free time.
