Friday’s lone goal lifts Duluth Marshall over Sartell/Sauk Rapids

DULUTH, Minn. -- The Duluth Marshall girls hockey team only needed one goal to earn a win on Monday afternoon.

Maren Friday's first period goal was enough to lift the Hilltoppers to a 1-0 win over Sartell/Sauk Rapids.

Duluth Marshall was off of school to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so the game was played at 12:30 p.m. at MARS Lakeview Arena.

Next up for the Hilltoppers is a matchup with Chisago Lakes on Tuesday night. Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m. at Chisago Lakes Arena.
