BREAKING: Union plow drivers, St. Louis Co. reach contract agreement

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MN -- After days of striking over contract disputes, St. Louis County and union plow drivers with Teamsters Local 320 have reached a contract agreement, according to those familiar with the matter.

Eric Skoog, Recording Secretary for Teamsters Local 320, posted on Facebook:

"After 15 hours of mediation, we reached an agreement that both parties can be proud of! Congrats Teamsters and see you at 4:00 at the ratification meeting!"

The situation gained national attention as presidential candidates Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders addressed the issue.

District 8 Congressional Representative Pete Stauber even attended the picket lines Friday, in support of the union workers.
