DULUTH, Minn. -- For the second time in two weeks, the University of Minnesota Duluth women's hockey team will take on Bemidji State.
Most recently, the Bulldogs shut out the Beavers 2-0 en route to their Minnesota Cup Title on January 5 at AMSOIL Arena.
"One, goaltending was awesome from our end, secondly I think we played a good 200 foot game where we got some goal scoring and we didn't give up the lead and we didn't even let a goal go in and the special teams game, scoring a power play goal and not giving up any on the kill," said head coach Maura Crowell.
"I think it's a huge weekend, a huge opportunity for us to make some strides and make a statement for what kind of run we want to make here in 2020."
Earlier in the season though, BSU swept UMD in their October series. The Bullddogs were outscored 6-3.
The final regular season series between the WCHA opponents begins on Friday night at AMSOIL Arena. Puck drop is at 7:07p.m.
