Duluth Council introduces ordinance that would ban conversion therapy

DULUTH, MN-- City Council President Noah Hobbs and Councilor Gary Anderson introduced an ordinance that would prohibit conversion therapy in Duluth.

The therapy is the practice of trying to change an individual's sexual orientation using psychological or spiritual interventions.

Superior and Minneapolis approved similar legislation this year.

The council could vote on the measure during the next meeting on Dec. 16.
