Tracking snow for Monday

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

SUNDAY:

This is Sunday morning when the temperatures will be the warmest.

The high temperature for Sunday will occur around 5 AM. Also in the morning there is a 20% chance for some freezing drizzle. Temperatures will cool into the teens by the evening. Skies will be cloudy all day, with the chance to see some flakes before midnight ahead of the system Monday. winds shifting from the South to the East at 5-10mph.

MONDAY:

Snow for Monday.

Snow all day. Heaviest snow will be in the morning hours, with lighter snow in the afternoon ending around 6-9PM. The snow amounts will range from a dusting near the Canadian border to as much as 8" for Ashland and the South shore of Lake Superior. I'm thinking about 3-6" for Duluth and around 1-2" for the Iron Range. The high temperature will also occur in the morning at about 10° and will cool below 0° be the evening. Winds 10-15 out of the Northwest.

TUESDAY:

Here are the morning temperatures for Tuesday. The high temperature will only be a couple degrees warmer.

The arctic air arrives! Highs will be near 0° with partly cloudy skies. Wind chills will be well below 0°, so bundle up!

WEDNESDAY:

Very cold start to the day Wednesday. Highs will stay below 0°.

Even colder! The morning will start off around 20° below 0°. The high will not even make it out of the negatives. So, bundle up even more. The only help will be the wind won't blow as hard.

LATE WEEK:

7 day extended forecast.

Temperatures will warm up a little. Highs in the 20's and lows in around 0°. There are a few waves of light snow that I am tracking, but the models are inconstant with the timing and strength of the systems, that's why I'm only saying 20-30% chance for snow Thursday-Saturday.
