Superior drug bust leads to seizure of +350 grams of meth

SUPERIOR, WI-- Authorities say a downtown Superior drug bust in November led to the seizure of about 354 grams of meth and about 18 grams of marijuana.

According to court documents, Superior Police, searched Robinson's and E's Leahter Plus, as well as a home on the 1000 block of Ogden Avenue belonging to Edreece Nance, 46, on November 14th.

It's unclear what ties Nance had to business where police executed the search.

According to police, they received the tip based off of an extensive investigation into drug trafficking being done by Nance.

Nance has been charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Methanphetamene, Second and Subsequent Possession of THC, and Two Counts of Possession of a Firearm by an Out of State Felon.

His bail was originally set for $20,000, but was modified during a later court appearance to $5,000 with a $10,000 signature bond.

Nance posted the bail with the condition of no use or possesion of a controlled substance or drug-related paraphernalia without a valid prescription and no possession of firearms.

NCIC records show Nance was previously convicted in 2006 of a felony controlled substance crime in Pennsylvania for which he was sentenced to a prison term.

His next court appearance is on December 16th at 8:30 a.m. for a motion hearing.
