2 plead guilty in connection to Twin Ports sex trafficking bust

DULUTH, MN -- Two people charged in connection to a sex trafficking bust at several Twin Ports massage parlors have pleaded guilty.

Police arrested Shuangyan Yang and Matthew Shykes, who are married, in March after a year-and-a-half-long investigation by several law enforcement agencies

According to court records, Yang pleaded guilty to rackteering while Shykes pleaded guitly to failing to pay taxes.

Sex trafficking charges against both were dismissed.

Both will be sentenced in the coming month.
