SUPERIOR, WI-- Superior's mayor says residential streets remain the city's highest plowing priority Tuesday morning.
As of about 6:30 a.m., Mayor Jim Paine says there are still some neighborhoods waiting to be cleared, and the city has diverted its heavy graders to those areas. The smaller front end loaders have moved into the alleys.
"I've been reviewing our planning throughout this operation and we've identified a few possible improvements," Paine wrote on Facebook. "However, it's still worth noting the titanic operation this has been. I've been in contact with Duluth and they are in a very similar situation but both of us are climbing out now. Hang tight Superior, we're getting there."
