Rain possible Thursday Night.

TONIGHT:
Temps are in the mid to low 50s tonight with partly cloudy skies. There’s a small wave in the jet stream that will kick off a 20% chance of showers. Otherwise expect partly cloudy skies with winds out of the south at 5-10mph.

THURSDAY:
A trough in the jet stream is approaching from the west. This will kick off a 30% chance of showers and storms in the afternoon hours. Expect partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. Highs are in the mid 70s with a southwest wind at 5-10mph.

FRIDAY:
The trough pushes in by the overnight bringing a 60% chance of rain and storms to the region. Lows are in the upper 50s. Friday we have mostly cloudy skies and a 20% chance of some lingering showers, even into the afternoon. Highs are in the mid 70s.

SATURDAY:
A cold front is approaching on Saturday. It will allow for a dry morning, but by the afternoon, as it approaches we see an increased chance of rain. Up to 40%. Lows are in the upper 50s and highs are in the upper 70s. We are a little warmer ahead of the front.

OVERNIGHT SATURDAY:
The front makes its way into the region by Saturday night keeping the chance of rain and thunder near 40%. Lows are in the upper 50s Sunday morning.

SUNDAY:
Sunday we could see some showers in the early morning, just a 20% chance. Then we have partly cloudy skies by the afternoon with highs in the mid 70s. Just a little cooler after the front passes through.

MONDAY:
Monday a ridge builds from the west and we start to dry out and warm up. Lows are in the mid 50s and highs are near 80. Expect skies to be mostly sunny.
