Baldwin hosts roundtable on road, bridge infrastructure damage due to weather

ASHLAND, WI — Wisconsin U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin held a roundtable with Ashland, Bayfield, and Bad River officials regarding the need to rebuild roads and bridges to withstand natural disasters, such as storms and floods.

During the meeting, Baldwin highlighted her Rebuilding Stronger Infrastructure Act that recently passed the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works to provide states with the tools needed to rebuild infrastructure to be more resilient to the next severe weather event.

Ashland and Bayfield counties have both experienced significant damage to roads and bridges due to severe flooding and storms.
