GORDON, WI — Authorities with the National Weather Service say a tornado touched down in Gordon, Wisconsin last week.
After a preliminary damage survey, officials say they detected damage near the intersection of Sand Road and Cabin Lane in the town of Gordon Thursday afternoon.
NWS officials say a lot of trees were broken or uprooted around that area.
The tornado was likely on the ground for about 1.3 miles, with maximum winds of 100-110 miles an hour, and was, at one point, 80 yards wide.
No structures were damaged, and no injuries were reported.
Officials approximate the damage at near EF-1 levels.
