Huskies extend win streak to seven with sweep of Border Cats

DULUTH, MN – The red hot Duluth Huskies have now won seven consecutive games after their 11-4 win over the Thunder Bay Border Cats on Friday night.

After their six-run second inning the previous night, the Huskies rallied with four runs in the second inning to grab and early lead at Wade Stadium.

Behind two home runs (Danny Zimmerman and Alex Tappen), Duluth never relinquished the lead en route to yet another blowout victory.

They improve to 10-4 in the second half of the season, in first place of the Great Plains East Division.

Duluth will be back in action on Saturday night in Waterloo, Iowa against the Bucks. First pitch is set for 6:35.
