Some sunshine, isolated thunderstorms possible

TODAY/TONIGHT: Today we will start out with clear skies and calm winds out of the northwest. Into the afternoon we will see increasing clouds to become partly sunny. There will be a 20% chance of some isolated thunderstorms developing this afternoon as there will be a bit of instability. Winds will also become more east 4-8mph, which will limit highs around Lake Superior to 55-70°. Inland temperatures will be able to climb back into the lower 80’s!

Tonight we will see partly cloudy skies. Lows will fall into the 40’s with light winds continuing out of the southeast.

FRIDAY: Friday we will see partly cloudy skies and temperatures climbing into the upper 70’s and lower 80’s!  Winds will be out of the northwest 5-15mph. As a weak front passes in the afternoon, there will be a 30% chance of scattered thunderstorms.

WEEKEND: Saturday we will see partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the mid-60’s in the Ports as that east wind picks back up. Sunday we will have mostly sunny skies and calm winds, although still a bit cooler by the lake with some 60’s for highs.

NEXT WEEK: Monday should be pretty quiet with partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the upper 60’s and lower 70’s. Tuesday and into Wednesday morning there will be a chance of some showers and thunderstorms across the region.
