DULUTH, MN– The Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) will hold a public meeting Tuesday regarding proposed route eliminations.
The proposed service elimination would be for Route 20 (Downtown to United Healthcare and Airpark) and route 22 (Lincoln Park to Lakeside).
According to DTA officials, they’re considering eliminating the routes due to expiring grant funding and lower ridership than anticipated.
The meeting will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Duluth Transportation Center, located at 228 West Michigan Street in Downtown Duluth.
If approved by DTA Board of Directors, the change would take place Sunday, August 25, 2019.
They plan to review public comments before making their decision.
