What you need to know as ‘Avengers: Endgame’ premieres Thursday night

DULUTH, MN– More than a decade and 21 films later, a new sequel to the Avengers series is set to hit theaters Thursday night.

The “Avengers: Endgame” premiere Thursday and nationwide opening Friday comes after the film’s trailer was released in December 2018.

The trailer was viewed 289 million times online within the first 24 hours of its release.

Theaters around the country are preparing for the showing of the new movie, including here in Duluth.

Marcus Theaters issued some tips for those heading to a showing:

-Purchase tickets in advance

-Consider extended early and late showtimes through the weekend.

-Arrive early enough to find parking, visit the concessions and find your seats

-The movie clocks in at three hours long

-You are allowed to wear a costume dressed as your favorite Marvel character, but you are not allowed to wear a mask that covers your face

Some tickets are still available as of Thursday.
