Sunny and warm… even by the lake!

TODAY/TONIGHT: Today is going to be another beautiful and warm day! We will see mostly sunny skies. Highs will be able to climb into the mid to upper 60’s, maybe even some 70’s away from the lake! Winds will be out of the northwest today, so we shouldn’t see temperatures by the lake become too much cooler.

Tonight we will see clear skies and calm winds out of the northwest. Lows will fall into the 30’s tonight, but should remain above freezing for most of the region.

FRIDAY: Friday we will start out with sunny skies, then see increasing clouds. Highs will be in the mid-50’s with breezy northwest winds 10-15mph. Overall, not too bad of a day.

WEEKEND: Saturday we will see mostly cloudy to partly sunny skies. There will be a weak system passing just to our south to bring some rain/snow mix across southern Minnesota, including the Cities. But we will just see some extra clouds. Highs will be around 40° in Duluth with east winds. Sunday we will see partly cloudy to partly sunny skies. Highs will be near 50°.

MONDAY: A low pressure system will slide out of the Rockies and into the Central Plains on Monday. This will bring a 40% chance of some rain/snow mix to our region. I think the best chance of the snow and mix will be afternoon and evening hours. Some light accumulation might be possible. Stay tuned!
