CLOQUET, MN — A popular Northland restaurant is back open for business.
Gordy’s Hi-Hat restaurant in Cloquet opened Wednesday for its 59th season.
Gordy and Marily Lundquist first opened the family run restaurant in 1960.
The restaurant is famous for its shakes, burgers and onion rings.
Doors opened at 10 a.m., but some customers were there well in advance.
“This was actually my first time coming here on opening day, so I thought it would be best to wait in line, you know. I had nothing else to do,” said Jessica Kegg.
The first 30 customers got a free Gordy’s T-Shirt.
